Lord I pray to You as You have Commanded
So answer me as You have promised
For You do not break Promises.

The dust returns to the earth as it was,
and the spirit returns to God who gave it.-

Ecclesiastes 12.7

Posted by Hello

Listen to the flute, how it pleads and sings
Listen to the Sorrows of the flute as if laments it says,
"Oh people from the time i have been cut from the farm and made into a flute i have sought a return to my place of origin
And yet none has pondered within the depths of my sorrow;
Everyone has held me to their mouths and blown into me, in a state of joy, in a state of greif;
Yet none has pondered into the grief contained within my voice

Adapted from Rumis first poem in the Mathanawi

Hadith: The Shuhadaa (Martyrs) will be in Heaven and will wonder who these many people at a higher station than them are. They will question, "We died for Allah, yet you are above us?"
Those people will reply and say, "We are the Sabiroon (patient), you died for Allah once, but we died a thousand times in the dunya and in the end still followed Allah."

This is the station of Sabr. (Patience)

My back is broken by the conflict of my thoughts; Oh Beloved One come and stroke my head in Mercy.
